SportsAds is an intelligent software solution which empowers the Sports Industry to optimise their advertising potential at all levels of stakeholdership. The sports organisation can easily add, manage, measure and integrate advertisements into their own digital channels. Via a central role of the sports federation, we create a local media network. Ready to use and beneficial for all stakeholders such as clubs, sponsors and advertisers. SportsAds provides insight via a dashboard into the results of (ongoing) advertising campaigns based on period/duration, impressions and clicks. In 2017 more than 500 million banner impressions were realised with SportsAds. The achieved results and opportunities for the sports market have not gone unnoticed. SportsAds integrated within Dutch football association (KNVB) and amateur football
Since this season the solution has been implemented on almost 600 amateur football clubs and also in use on the corporate KNVB websites onsoranje.nl and voetbal.nl. It is unique that the same advertising management tool is integrated into both the federal channels and the club channels, creating a sports media range from national to local level. With a growing amount of 41 million views per match round, SportsAds is establishing itself as a real sports media network.
Amateur clubs do not have enough time, volunteers, knowledge and experience to independently take care of the entire acquisition, monitoring, optimization and reporting of advertisers and sponsors. The club will determine the amount of advertising space available through their website, app and/or tv screens in the canteen for national and regional advertisers. The clubs will receive 50% of the income and can also use the tool for adding their own sponsors and advertisements. Revenues earned via club sponsors are 100% for the club. This season already more than 13 million banner impressions have been shown via the club channels. SportsAds can be integrated as a tool for all sports.
Sports Technology Awards May 3th, in London
Each year the Sports Technology Group nominates organizations which have developed a unique and successful technology for the world of sports. Organizations can be nominated for 19 different categories such as: best innovation, app, technology for sports commerce and participation. The jury consists of 32 sports professionals from organisations such as UEFA, Yahoo and FOX sports. This year the award ceremony will take place on May 3th in London.
